Support deadline · Dec 31, 2026
Extended support for Sitecore 10.0 and 10.1 ends December 31, 2026
Sitecore 10.3 left mainstream support on December 31, 2025, and 10.4 leaves it on December 31, 2027. A migration takes months, so the planning starts now.
Why choose Sengo
We work on both Sitecore and Optimizely, so we know what each platform does well and where a move gets hard. If staying on Sitecore or moving to SitecoreAI fits you better, the report says so and shows the numbers.
A migration we are running right now
Sengo is currently moving a large Quebec financial services company from Sitecore to Optimizely. We are the first partner to implement a new official Optimizely migration accelerator, on this project.
An accelerator speeds up the repeatable work. The decisions stay with people: which content is worth moving, how Sitecore templates map to an Optimizely content model, what happens to personalization, integrations and search, and how every URL keeps its ranking. This assessment answers those questions for your site before the project starts.

What you get
What your report contains
Everything you need to scope, budget and schedule a move from Sitecore to Optimizely.
Sitecore inventory
Version, templates, renderings, modules, personalization rules and integrations, with what each one is used for.
Content model mapping
How your Sitecore templates map to Optimizely content types and blocks, and which content is worth moving.
Automated vs hands-on work
Which parts a migration accelerator can move for you, and which need rework: custom code, integrations, forms and search.
SEO and redirect plan
A URL inventory, a redirect map and your top organic pages, so rankings move with the site.
Target and 3-year cost view
Optimizely CMS 13 or SaaS CMS compared with staying on Sitecore, with build effort and running costs as ranges.
Phased plan and leadership summary
The order of work, a realistic timeline and a one-page summary you can forward.
A 3-year cost view your leadership can approve
Every platform audit ends with the numbers a budget owner asks for, not only a list of technical findings.
01
What you spend today
Licence, hosting, support contracts and the internal time your team puts into the platform.
02
Each option over 3 years
Stay, upgrade or move, with build effort and running costs shown as ranges side by side.
03
Risk of waiting
What changes if you do nothing for 12 months: support status, security exposure and rising upgrade effort.
04
One-page summary
The recommendation, the cost and the timeline on one page you can forward to finance or your board.
How it works and who does it
A Sengo consultant who works on your platform runs the review and walks you through it. No sales script, and you keep the report.

Frequently asked questions
Which Sitecore versions does the assessment cover?
XP, XM and XM Cloud (now SitecoreAI). How much of the move an accelerator can automate depends on your version and how the site was built. The report tells you which parts.
Should we move to Optimizely CMS 13 or Optimizely SaaS CMS?
It depends on your custom code, hosting rules and how your team works. The report compares both targets for your site, with build effort and running costs side by side.
Will we lose search rankings when we migrate?
Not if the move is planned. The report includes a URL inventory, a redirect plan and the pages that bring you the most organic traffic, so they move first and get checked.
Is the assessment useful if we are not sure we want to leave Sitecore?
Yes. The 3-year cost view compares staying on Sitecore, moving to SitecoreAI and moving to Optimizely. If you only need a Sitecore health check, see our Sitecore audit.
What happens after the report?
We walk you through it on a call. You can run the migration in-house, with your current agency or with Sengo. It is your report.
